If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWithin the IBM Z Manufacturing Engineering group, we ensure the technical end to end processes are in place worldwide to support new and existing products and for the development of tactical and innovative solutions for all associated manufacturing processes for the manufacturing of IBM Z products.As a key member of the group you will be responsible for:Maintaining and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
Process documentation for engineering activities related to developing, modifying, and supporting manufacturing processes.
Training and certification of manufacturing operators
Know the manufacturing process in great detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level.
Assisting manufacturing engineers with the release of new tools to the manufacturing floor.
Assisting manufacturing engineers in equipment development and ongoing support.
Documenting and assisting manufacturing engineers in the development of assembly instructions.
About the TeamThe IBM Z Manufacturing Engineering group is a highly collaborative group located in Poughkeepsie, NY with both new hires and experienced professionals. This group works closely with both our Development Teams and Manufacturing Teams to support the group's overall mission.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseProblem solving skills
