Job Details

Maintain / Administer computer networks and related computing environments (systems software, applications software, hardware, configurations) Manage and script VOIP deployments Work with network users about solving existing system issues Monitor network performance; determine necessary adjustments Change Mgmt - support modifications and maintenance to complex network systems Root-cause analysis MUST be strong hands-on with Free PBX / Elastix MUST be local to the JFK area for daily on-site work MUST be strong with MS Teams integration with VoIP

Qualified candidates will be local to the NY area and able to work on-site full-time or partially near JFK airport. Bachelor's in Computers, IT, Engineering - or relevant experience 4yrs+ experience as Network Operations Engineer with VoIP deployment expertise Strong understanding of network infrastructure and hardware Hands-on expertise with: Elastix / Free PBX, MS Teams configuration, PRI/BRI, Voice T1/E1, FXO/FXS, Codecs, LACP, VLAN, SIP, BGP, route redistribution and PBF, QoS, network monitoring solutions Strong hands-on experience with / knowledge of VoIP infrastructure (PBX, Codec, Jitter, Packet Analysis, 3CX) Experience with monitoring tools (MRTG or PRTG) Knowledge of SIP Trunking Exceptional communication / interpersonal skills and customer service focus
