DevOps Support Engineer
100% RemoteResponsibilities:- Experience establishing and running application monitoring solutions
- Design/orchestrate, configure, and maintain release pipelines
- Manage and automate the methods of the deployment and the processes required to execute
- Configuration and administration of 3rd party tools

- Champion changes to tools and processes to improve efficiency
- Install, create, and enhances batch jobs that support the coding lifecycle
- Make suggestions for continued improvement or increased efficiencies by providing guided program suggestions that can be implemented in short period.
- Analyze and determine root cause and resolve extensive range of complicated problems.
- Follow-up and coordinate changes involving software and applications
- Establishing and communicating best practices for a large engineering organization
- Computer Science, Engineering, or Equivalent Degree
- Strong understanding of RedHat Linux
- Proficient experience with scripting and automation with tools like Bash, Python and/or SALT.
- Understanding of CI/CD
- Strong experience with SQL
- Understanding of batch processing.
- Familiar with system monitoring and telemetry. Ability to validate the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, including reviewing system and application logs, and monitoring capacities.
- Team-driven software development practices (i.e., Git workflows, Agile/Kanban, etc.)
- Strong expertise with production and application support in mixed environments.
- Experience with software build and test tools (i.e., Maven, Ant, Gradle, Make, MS build, etc.) is a plus
- Team player & ability to work across organizations to co-ordinate releases, deployments, and troubleshooting.
