Senior Java Architect
100% RemoteIn this role, you will lead an architecture team responsible for the development and implementation of application architecture-related policies, standards, practices, and procedures. Responsibilities- Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge regarding company products and business objectives.
- Develops short and long-term business plans that are consistent with the needs and priorities of the business and its customers.
- Ensures the company's architectural vision is followed.
- Develops effective business relationships while championing the enterprise's overall architecture principles.
- Makes decisions based on company and functional objectives and allocated resources.
- Participates in the interview/selection process, provides training and mentorship, offers career development guidance and is engaged in performance management.
- Experience managing architecture teams, instilling best practices around coding practices, environment build out, and architecture.
- Experience with both private and public cloud.
- Extensive experience with Core Java, Microservices, Spring framework, and front end technologies.
- Experience in architecture around high volume transactions.
- Drive architecture team to solution platform migration and eventual transition to public cloud.
- Well versed in architecture, coding and tools best practices
