Job Description - Senior Voice Engineer - Remote
Responsibilities:- Develop methodologies, technical standards, security requirements, and best business practices to maintain and enhance the company's client-facing, Internet-facing, and internal network infrastructure and related communication technologies and equipment.
- Analyze highly complex network-related requirements and develop high-level and complimentary detailed technical design documentation that supports an overall business solution for the client.
- Engineer and design enterprise level network voice solutions.
- Participate in configuration, and troubleshooting of company's network infrastructure and services, including switches, voice, routers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, load balancers, WAN protocols, and knowledge of dynamic routing protocols.
- Extensive Cisco, Voice, and Collaboration engineering/architecture experience
- CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCP Certifications
- Strong understand of Cisco and Juniper technologies
- Strong understand of network voice technologies - Cisco UC technologies (CUCM, CUC, IMP, UCCX, Jabber, etc) and Five9
- Professional-level f5 certification or above (e.g., f5 Certified Technology Specialist, f5 Certified Solution Expert), preferred
- Extensive experience engineering, installing, configuring, and supporting WAN connectivity solutions (SDWAN, Ethernet over MPLS, Site-to-Site VPN, etc.)
- Extensive experience network engineering experience supporting and troubleshooting in large data center environments
- Extensive experience configuring and supporting routing protocols such as BGP and EIGRP
- Extensive experience configuring and supporting switching technologies (STP, VPC, FabricPath, ACI, VxLAN, etc.)
- Over 5 years configuring and supporting Cisco Nexus Switches
- Over 5 years configuring and supporting Juniper firewalls, routers, and switches
