Automation Product & Program Manager

As our Automation Product and Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a critical leadership role in integrating automation into all areas of our business resulting in fundamental changes to how we operate and deliver value to our consumers. You will deliver holistic solutions blending Operations Excellence process with intelligent automation solutions and grow our automated products combining Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Smart Process Automation (SPA), Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR), Natural Language Process (NLP), Cognitive Assistants (Voice and Text), and other technologies. You must have a customer-first mindset, a strong understanding of back-end and front-end environments, and the skills to track, analyze, and improve our intelligent automation products. If you have excellent analytical, organizational, program management, and communication skills and get energized by working in an enterprise role translating a variety of customer and business needs into automation business opportunities, then this is the role for you. What you'll get to do
  • Lead a matrixed team of technologists and operational delivery team members to successfully deliver solutions and increase adoption.
  • Become obsessed with the customer and the relevant user journey data that informs automation strategy and direction for the business.
  • Be accountable for the product, program, and roadmap - including opportunities identification, pipelining, benefits quality, driving delivery.
  • Develop & drive a product roadmap creating iterative delivery that brings value to the market as quickly as possible.
  • Work across business areas for successful delivery of the enterprise intelligent automation portfolio.
  • Communicate and collaborate with executive leadership and key stakeholders to identify and execute him impact opportunities.
  • Be an expert creative problem solver and influencer to remove roadblocks.
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation, growth, and development.

What you'll have responsibility for
  • Leading automation development in partnership with business owner and cross-functional teams; bring thought leadership and innovative ideas to key initiatives and lead execution of product related solutions.
  • Help craft, communicate, and maintain the long-term product vision and strategy as well as the short-term execution plan based on business approved prioritization and architectural feasibility.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and technical teams to identify new automation opportunities, communicating consumer and business, needs and translating those needs into new product features for the team to design.
  • Act as champion of our product vision and strategy by driving collaboration, socialization, gaining buy-in and alignment, and providing transparency to key decisions.
  • Manage delivery roadmap aligned to Automation strategy ensuring outcomes are implemented within schedule, financials, and scope
  • Defining and driving our near-term and long-term vision for automation for our Company - The overall set of responsibilities, from opportunity identification, planning, staffing all the way to execution and value realization will require collaboration from all the parties mentioned above. The lead will work with all parties to help drive this model to the next level of maturity which requires strong partnering and influencing skills.
  • Implementing effective supply/demand management and funding - The role will be responsible to effectively draw on top-down demand generation as well as benefits driven prioritization working closely with divisional IT and the business, with an effective supply and demand process based on pulled-through value. This will ensure there is agreement on where automation efforts and resources are being deployed and that they are driving the most important business outcomes for the dollars spent.
  • Execution excellence & financial management - Excellent execution practices, predictable results, pro-active management of issues, and driving efficiencies for financial benefits will be essential to success in this role.
  • Aligning support from leaders and colleagues across the organization - Since automation is at a critical juncture to move to the "next level", relationship building with IT and business colleagues at all levels with consistent messaging will be an important key to success.

Qualifications What you bring to the table
  • Proven nimble approach to thinking strategically with a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Minimum 3 years of automation product management or large-scale delivery programs.
  • Strong analytic, prioritization, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience working in a matrix global model.
  • Excitement, energy, and strong people skills including excellent communication capabilities at all levels.
