The RoleThe Senior Director of Product Management is responsible for driving and delivering outstanding products that create incredible value for our customers. They are responsible for all aspects of product, from strategy, to delivery, and ongoing customer retention for a suite of Client's products. This person employs a unique blend of business & technical savvy, strong passion for the customer, the drive to create a vision and turn that into an outstanding product. They must be a leader with strong commitment to invest in the development of the individuals on their team. Works closely with Engineering, UX, and Development teams to develop and drive delivery of the product strategy. The Senior Director of Product Management partners cross-functionally to define product release requirements and execution strategies. This role works with marketing communications to define go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer. The Senior Director Product Management also supports the development of product marketing strategies as an internal and external evangelist for the product, while also partnering with the direct sales & customer success teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define, lead, and communicate product strategy in support of the business objectives.
  • Ensure rapid pace of moving from strategy to execution.
  • Synthesize ideas on strategy, planning and execution to identify new market opportunities & create the next generation of products that attack those opportunities.
  • Build understanding, consensus, and execution alignment with key stakeholders. Develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive decisions.
  • Work with teams of engineers, POs and UX Designers to drive agile execution of new product launches. Oversee the ongoing evolution of a solution oriented pricing strategy and competitive positioning.
  • Ensure ongoing product growth and expansion by gaining and exploiting marketing feedback from customers and prospects.
  • Evaluate market share, and drive competitive analysis across a suite of Client's products.

Required Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor s Degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years experience with a combination of product management, product development, product marketing in a software solutions-oriented business. Experience in a B2B SaaS company will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated examples of innovation that created outstanding value for customers and a business.
  • Ability to conceptualize, negotiate and sell ideas internally and externally.
  • Strong experience in an Agile development model.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.
  • Proven track record for developing, managing and launching large-scale cloud-based software products.
  • Background in the SaaS, software or technology industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical and data-analysis skills.
  • Familiarity with aspects of lean methodologies, including customer development, hypothesis-driven planning, and evidence-led product design.
  • Exceptionally strong writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project and resource management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with customer engagement tools.

Added Notes:This Senior Director of Product Management will run the Boards team, having the highest visibility product with several hundreds of millions of dollars that this product brings in. We need someone with experience launching products at this scale. High visibility product- want some help with diverse candidate because we want the product to change. b2b and b2c product experience required. Having experience with metrics and engagement will be a given for people who have b2c experience. Will meet and work with CEO. Will also interview with them. Lots of visibility to CPO in company. Experience presenting to board, management and leadership.
