Pay: $50 - 62 (W2) +1.5x(Overtime)

Contract Length: 1 Year contract to hire full time

The

Procurement Manager - Information Technology and Business Services will be responsible for partnering with client's IT organization to develop strategies to effectively manage external spend on goods and services, with a focus on Enterprise Software and Services, End User Support, and Professional Services. The IT organization is going through a significant transformation, and the individual in this role will serve as a key partner to IT leadership. The Procurement Manager will be the principal owner of the end to end procurement process, including market intelligence, financial analysis, sourcing strategy, stakeholder management, supplier negotiations, and ongoing supplier relationship management. The role is expected to partner closely with key stakeholders across client's IT organization, as well as business partners within client's industry-focused divisions, to ensure that the IT program is responsive and proactive in its support of client's business requirements. The Procurement Manager should be results-oriented, possess highly developed quantitative analysis skills, and be a strong communicator who is able to establish strong, long-lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The Manager is resilient and enjoys interacting daily with colleagues at various levels within and outside the organization, while influencing others to meet a wide range of business objectives. The Manager should be a confident negotiator who partners well to continuously drive improvement in business partner performance to exceed contractual and business expectations.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Partner with Procurement Leadership to create and execute a procurement and category plan that aligns to client's goals, policies and financial expectations; Perform analysis of category spend to track and manage savings against category plan and goals.
  • Partner with IT Leadership to advise on all matters related to the sourcing of IT goods and services; coordinate the execution of the agreed strategy, and manage key supplier relationships.
  • Identify and lead sourcing opportunities to obtain optimal value for the client, including estimating the cost savings benefits for sourcing opportunities and evaluating Strategic Sourcing performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Lead RFX efforts and targeted negotiations for variety of IT procurement efforts, with a focus on Enterprise Software and Professional Services.
  • Proactively monitor market intelligence trends that impact category and adapting strategy to mitigate risk
  • Proactively develop and maintain supplier relationships in a way that delivers business results, tracks performance and ensures accountability (performance management) while ensuring compliance with all requirements, internal controls and regulations; Develop and execute a supplier management program.
  • Partner with Procurement and IT to build and then drive the adoption of P2P processes for IT purchasing.
  • Work with IT and Shared Services to develop process and compliance to the Purchase-to-Pay strategy for IT.
  • Identify and drive process improvements in the IT sourcing and supplier management pillars as well as end-to-end Purchase-to-Pay lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and IT during corporate IT budgeting process. Lead procurement pipelining and goal-setting process for future IT initiatives. Track, reconcile costs and savings throughout the year.
  • Partner with legal organization on review and redlining of various contract types such as MSAs, SOWs, Consulting Agreements, Order Forms.
  • Partner with Information Security and Compliance teams on assessing risk of vendors, other third parties.
  • Support and Execute business service programs such as Amazon, Office Depot, etc.

Minimum Education/Experience:
  • Relevant business/technical degree (MBA Preferred)
  • 5 plus years of relevant experience with at least three of those years in an IT-focused Procurement/Strategic Sourcing role or in a similar capacity with the ability to negotiate and purchase related services. Strong preference given to those with experience in negotiating enterprise software agreements.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes/methods, as well as relevant Information Technology (IT) systems
  • Experience using Power BI is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Good presentation skills to achieve (business) acceptance of procurement practices and procedures, metrics, budgeting/forecasting routines and changes thereto
