Our financial client is seeking a

Associate Director, Cloud Engineering for a

full-time Remote position. You will be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team to manage the systems administration of AWS Cloud environment used for running index applications. This role requires a seasoned engineer who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment. The candidate will build solutions to manage AWS Cloud Infrastructure resource provisioning and administration for our index applications. As part of the core Technology team, the candidate will have the opportunity to work on innovative technologies, work closely with Index business stakeholders and participate in formulating the technology strategy to support & grow the Index business.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Infrastructure Governance and certifications.
  • Liaison with BISO/CISO teams.
  • Respond to External and Internal Audit.
  • Ensure compliance with Information security guidelines.
  • Generate Infrastructure Risk metrics.
  • Implement fine grained access control, guardrails, and ensure end point protection.
  • Manage and certify user and system access, audit PAM-CyberArk.
  • Manage infrastructure vulnerability remediations.
  • Manage Patching and provide patching efficiency reports.
  • Ensure CIS compliance.
  • Manage Cloud controls and compliance - using secure state.
  • Review and validate backups reports.
  • Manage Infrastructure HA/Disaster Recovery.
  • Ensure proper controls are in place to protect from ransomware and other cyber Incidents.
  • Lead Identity and Access management services design - SSO/SAML/LDAP/AD/Okta/Role based access control.
  • Design SIEM monitoring, Security controls, intrusion detection using tools like Guard Duty/Inspector/VPC flow log/Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail.
  • Ensure Password Policy governance.
  • Run periodic Cyber Incident Recovery and Disaster Recovery tests on key cloud components.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science desirable.
  • 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering and Systems Administration.
  • AWS Certification is desirable
  • Experience working with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Experience in System Administration on RedHat Linux or Unix
