Detailed Job Description: This position will provide Software Analyst for the following: Phase 5 of the expansion effort for JJISCW and JDAS for 2020 to 2022 includes but is not limited to: JJISCW (JJIS for Child Welfare): 1. Reports - Expand the existing reports functionality to develop reports that will help in operational efficiency and in managerial work. Reports should include reports for tracking movements, youth’s absences from a facility, tracking facility census with approved or unapproved absences, and placement extensions or vacatements in a specific time period etc. 2. Conclusion of Placement: Create a data entry screen where the staff can enter “Conclusion of Placement” details which is a report that is due to be submitted in the Court a few days before the youth’s placement expires. 3. Updates to Youth Summary: Update the “Youth Summary” to display all information in the youth’s profile in a read-only format along with the report for tracking the changes to “Adjusted Expiration Date” as a result placement extension or detention credits or unapproved leaves. 4. Email Notifications: Create email notifications to alert the Placement and Permanency Staff or their supervisors on some important events in the youth’s placement calendar which would require some action on their part. JDAS: 1. Intake Form: Every time a youth enters detention, the case manager should complete the youth’s intake which includes capturing details related to the youth, youth’s family details and a questionnaire etc. 2. PREA Form: This is a screening form that can be developed and tracked in JDAS. Every youth that is admitted to detention is screened for PREA by the case managers. 3. Detention Order: Update the detention order screen to consolidate petition and arrest charge popups, tracking date of original offense. 4. Reports: Create new reports to enhance operational efficiency or managerial work which may include but not limited to Duplicate Cases Report, Master Adhoc Report, reports to include sentenced youth, ability to filter youth by home county’s zip code.
