QC Equipment Software SpecialistShift: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PMLocation: Rensselaer, NY (Onsite)Salary: $55K-$70KThis is a direct hire opportunity!Job Summary: Individual has to have exposure to working with laboratory instrumentation/software. This position will be a liaison between the QC laboratory and the IT department.Responsibilities:Leads projects and prioritizes using excellent organizational, communication and time management skills

Assists in coordinating QC IT projects activities (LIMS, LES, ELN, SDMS, Empower) to support ongoing Quality Control department needs

Communicate project progress and risks to upper management and stakeholders (internal and external)

Manage the day-to-day detailed aspects of multiple projects simultaneously

Coordinates contingency and risk mitigation planning for projects

Apply project management principles, concepts and techniques to new and ongoing QC IT initiatives

Focus and influence cross-functional teams to achieve timelines

Lead meetings relevant to assigned projects as required

Acts as liaison with IT, QC testing groups, Lab Systems and QA Validation to support project goals

Requirements :BS/BA required in Scientific field or IT field

Preferred minimum of 2 years QC/laboratory industry experience.

Labware LIMS and/or Waters NuGenesis or Empower experience is highly preferred
