Valid CPR certificate from either AHA, ARC, or National CPR Foundation

Additional Skills & Qualifications:Perform all aspects of patient registration and processing appointments.

All Long Island sites are union 1199 and have different benefits from nonunion sites. Non-union sites offer a 2K tuition reimbursement for a related field per calendar year, but Union sites do not offer that, they offer the 1199 benefits.
High starting pay rate for candidates for the area. Long Island typically pay.
Work Environment:Certified MA's will get $18/hour while MA's with just the MA Diploma and no cert will get $17.
Each candidate will see about 40-50 patients a day
They have 9 locations on Long Island in Suffolk County and 27 total.
The organization consists of community health centers throughout New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.
Hours/Days:Candidates will work 35 hour weeks.
Typically, schedules are M-F 8:30-4:30, 9-5, with one rotating weekend (Saturday) shift, and 1-2 afternoon to evening shift such as a 12pm-8pm. Again, it can vary depending on the site and operational needs. With spiking COVID rates, candidates are expected to be able to work extra hours if needed. Schedules will vary by site and candidates need to be flexible.
