NY State wide provider of predictive (PdM) and corrective maintenance services is looking for a mechanical engineer eager to be mentored in the art and science of vibration analysis. Travel is required and will be approximately 50-75% of your time. You will be working alongside 2ea. certified vibration analysts who will mentor you and train you in this PdM discipline. This is fascinating technology that is like putting a stethoscope
on a piece of industrial equipment and through the vibrations collected, one can understand the health of that asset. The work environment will be a combination of collecting data at various industrial sites in NY and being mentored to analyze the data that was collected and processing a report to be sent back to that industrial site to allow them to take corrective action on the assets that showed high vibrations.
