Please note that this is a 6 months contract position.Qualifications:Education: Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or equivalent experience preferred, previous Business Analyst experience in Master Data Management is a must.Skills: 3+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance preferred Knowledge of SAP is a must. Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Strong customer service skills. Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management. Strong organizational skills required to coordinate and manage across multiple organizations, processes and initiatives. Previous Ariba experience a must.Responsibilities:The Master Data Administrator is responsible for processing Requests to add/update/ maintain vendor information in SAP. In addition, this role will be providing information to vendors, and internal employees for questions regarding vendor master. These requests may be by phone or email. The Master Data Administrator will communicate, collaborate, and interact with external partners, end-users, managers, and other team members. • Provide phone coverage and monitor the email queue of request s; perform correct analysis, categorization and prioritization of requests, answer inquiries for additional information, and refer requests (as necessary) to applicable departments/individuals with appropriate priority. • Add/update/maintain vendor master data in SAP within corporate guidelines while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Focus on data quality and process to foster best practices • Support several project requirements by attending meetings, testing and collecting of vendor paperwork• Follow procedures to ensure proper approvals and integrity of Master Data information in SAP; maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Update detailed work instructions in a timely manner to reflect approved changes to processes. • Communicate frequently and openly with other team members to maximize benefits gained by sharing ideas and lessons learned to improve our business process and provide a stable and reliable working environment for our business users. • Utilize SAP to research issues, inquiries, and errorsApplicants must provide their phone number.
