Small, established, busy, Webster-based, residential landscaping/lawn mowing company is HIRING FOR ALL POSITIONS, supervisory and crew! We operate from approximately late-March/early-April through mid-December on a, generally, Monday through Friday schedule except during high demand periods and following weather-related delays where there may be an occasional Saturday and rare Sunday. A prerequisite would be the love of working outdoors on not just the beautiful days coupled with an understanding that much of what you will do is physical in nature. Great starting pay with the opportunity to make more. You may expect a performance review after 30 days and at your 3-month anniversary.
WORKING SUPERVISORRequires previous, verifiable, landscaping and/or lawn mowing experience along with a prior leadership role.
CREW MEMBERPreferred to have at least one full year of landscaping and/or lawn mowing experience; without experience well consider working with enthusiastic, quick learners.
EXTRA PREFERENCEThose who are able to work safely at heights of up to 3 stories.
You'll NEED transportation to and from our Webster shop each work day (not on a bus line)
MUST have current + valid NYS driver's lic = less than 6 pts, no DWI/DUI/child-support suspensions
Ideally, possess some mechanical ability to handle basic on-the-job fixes
Have outside/home life in order/under control so that workday distractions are minimized
Organized, neat, detailed, and thorough in the timely delivery of services
Have an always-operational/working smart phone
Able to safely operate tow vehicle/trailer combos (required of only supervisor applicants)
Versed operating commercial mowers, trimmers, blade-edgers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, etc.
Expect a work week of approximately 35 - 45 hours
