We're looking for Legal Secretary. The Temporary Legal Assistant will be responsible for the undertaking of a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The Legal Secretary will provide clerical support directly to our legal team as well as information management support on company legal matters. This is a temporary to hire position.

Primary Responsibilities

Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics; coordinating case preparation

Conserves attorney time by reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.

Coordinates preparation of charts, graphs, and preparing expense reports.

Maintains attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, and travel.

Maintains client and company confidence by keeping information confidential.

Maintains office supplies by checking stocks; placing and expediting orders; evaluating new products.

Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Additional duties as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED

Associates or Bachelor's Degree Preferred

2+ years as a legal assistant or administrator familiar with litigation/legal matters

Experience with the reorganization of corporate documentation, entities, and structures, as well as the ability to rationalize corporate document policy, storage and management

Ability to juggle multiple projects at once

Organizational skills key

Ability to work under pressure

Proficient with Microsoft Word

Knowledge of Windows 7 or higher
