We would like to find a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a daytime driver in the Rochester, NY area. The route starts in Henrietta heading east or west side of Upstate NY with the final drop off in Warsaw, NY. Driver must be comfortable driving on the highway, in towns, and cities. MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE (Car or SUV)
This position is 50% driving and 50% customer service. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide mail delivery for clients. Must have a professional appearance for front-face clients. The uniform is business casual. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their job and is responsible.
Contract Length: September 2024 - December 2024
Responsibilities:
Safely operate own vehicles to transport mail to designated locations.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicles.
Communicate effectively and have exceptional customer service.
Requirements
Must be available during daytime hours, Monday - Friday, approx. 40 hours per week.
Valid Class D driver's license with a clean driving record (no exceptions).
Must pass a series of checks including drug test, driver check, background check
Previous experience in driving or transportation preferred.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Must have a smartphone.
$32 dollars will be deducted from your check each week for Cargo Insurance and Contractor Insurance
Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
Must be comfortable in professional environments and adhere to professionalism at all times.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
230 per day
350 miles a day
