We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Part-Time Driver in the Rochester, NY area. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide transportation services for our company, ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods.
Schedule:
Monday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am
Tuesday: 7:30 am - 11:00 am
Wednesday 7:30 am - 3pm
Thursday: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 2pm
Total hours per week: 25 ( approx.)
Responsibilities:
Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of assigned vehicle.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to ensure efficient transportation services.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Background check and drug test will be completed.
Previous experience in driving or transportation preferred.
Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Compensation:
$500 per week
