Dispatches calls to the appropriate resources as dictated by guidelines.Job ResponsibilityAnswer requests for emergency medical service utilizing provided Medical Priority Dispatch System (MPDS) cards / ProQA for proper prioritization and pre-arrival instructions; adheres to guidelines.
Responds to posted units following the Deployment Monitor in an expedient manner.
Follows dispatch orders adhering to approved policies and procedures.
Maintains accurate records for ambulances.
Handles scheduled transports in a timely manner.
Clarifies policies or procedures, and any other matters that may occur, as appropriate.
Participates in all required safety and back-up drills.

Job QualificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
