We are looking for
Finance Analyst for our client in Syracuse, NY Job Title: Finance Analyst Job Location: Syracuse, NY Job Type: Contract Job Description: Responsibilities:- Month-end close and journal entries.
- Analyze monthly spending variances.
- Participate in budget and forecasting.
- Partner with functional managers on department expenses.
- Detailed analysis and submission of account reconciliations.
- Assist with cost accounting duties.
- Provide support for fixed assets: additions & disposals.
- Perform ad hoc and special analyses as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
- Minimum 2-5 years of Accounting experience.
- Cost Accounting emphasis.
- Attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills, teamwork, and customer focus.
- SAP system knowledge a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Desire to achieve initiatives, projects and programs.
- Ability to challenge and continuously improve finance systems and related processes.
