Position/Job SummaryProvide user-focused support and resolution for incidents and requests reported to the Information Technology (IT) Service Desk via telephone, email and chat. Provide initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of incidents and requests regarding the use of Windows and Mac computers, software applications, telephones and voice mail, and other technology-based systems, services and devices, from our central service desk. Collect information through a customer conversation, support tools, and additional service resources as needed.

Position/Job ResponsibilitiesProvide front-line, user-focused support for incidents and requests reported to the IT Service Desk. Perform initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution of incidents and requests. Log all incidents and requests, document resolutions and update self-help and staff knowledge bases. Develop an understanding of the computing environment, including specific knowledge of Mac and Windows computers, various peripherals, mobile devices, software applications and telecommunications. Create a positive customer support experience and build strong relationships through deep problem understanding, ensuring timely resolution or escalation, communicating promptly on progress, and handling clients with a client-focused professional attitude. Ensure the end-to-end customer experience and provide a single point-of-contact for the client. Develop and demonstrate a multicultural awareness and contribute to cultivating an inclusive, diverse and respectful community. Demonstrate civil and inclusive behavior. Promote a flexible, collaborative and inclusive work and living environment and engage in educational opportunities to increase awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion. Adhere to and support IT standards, policies, and procedures.
