Description You could be the charismatic and detail-oriented Call Center Specialist for this client working with Robert Half! Customer Service Reps who want to be the director of first impressions will find the right position for them here, providing customer service over the phone . We're looking for a self-starter who finds value working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while providing support to insurance providers! This long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity is based in the Syracuse, New York area.Your responsibilities
Administrating various files and providing general office duties, e.g. faxing, data entry, scanning, etc.
Responding to inquiries in a detail-oriented and effective manner while efficiently answering phone calls within a minimum number of rings
Acting as a liaison with patients and providers in a compassionate and kind manner
Providing support in the management of patient medical records
Requirements
Proficiency with multi-line phone systems required
Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request
1+ year of experience in a call center
Knowledgeable of medical terminology and insurance products and plans
Solid understanding of Computer Skills
Proficiency in Answering Multi-Line Phone System
Professional Phone Etiquette experience
Knowledge of Call Center Customer Service
High School Diploma required, A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred
1 or more years of experience handling multi-line phone systemsin
