Position Description:

Working Team Leader who collaborates with physicians, administrator, office managers and staff to enhance daily operations and uphold quality standards. The Clerical Team Leader fosters positive relationships with patients, their families, and colleagues to uphold the practice’s mission and goals. Additionally, this role involves spearheading the onboarding and training of new clerical employees, serving as a mentor, and acting as a point person for urgent physician requests. The Clerical Team Leader is also responsible for optimizing patient flow, access, and scheduling, while ensuring exceptional patient care and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in healthcare.

Desirable Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor’s degree in a medical related field.

Strong clerical skills and knowledge, and good knowledge of computer systems and new technology.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrates competence interpersonal and intra professional relations.

Demonstrates commitment to collaboration with physicians to individualize and enhance patient care.

Demonstrates the characteristics of a team player with other department administrators.

Demonstrated competence in stressful situations/seeks guidance when necessary.

Demonstrated competence with PC based computer programs/systems.

Demonstrated competence with interpersonal and intra professional relations.

Knowledge of Medent Electronic Medical Record Practice Management System.

Pay Range: $17-$24/hour DOE
