Description We are in the process of expanding our team in SYRACUSE, New York, and are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Assistant. In this role, you will contribute significantly to our non-profit organization by handling important HR tasks and maintaining efficient HR processes. This role is a short term temporary assignment. Responsibilities:Running background checks through state databases, CPS, DMV, scheduling fingerprinting, data entry, filing and other admin work as neededRequirements
Proven experience in the Non-Profit industry and/or HR is preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Human Resources Assistant or in a similar role
Knowledge of ATS systems is a plus
Proficiency in using HRMS is a plus
Proficiency in using excel for data entry required
Experience in conducting Background Checks highly preferred
Excellent Customer Service skills
