Seeking a female Personal Care Aid/Companion to work weekends and back up during the week to provide in home care to an individual with cerebral palsy. Right now I have some weekend shifts as well as back up various times during the week when other staff take off. This position is thru Exceptional Family Resources and background check necessary and clean drivers license. $19.50 an hour. I also have overnights available for back up 10pm-8am. On overnights, you can watch tv, read etc. Great for students, moms, etc, who want to make some extra money, and you are dedicated in improving the quality of life for me. $18.10 an hour thru PPL formerly thru AccessCNY. I live in Riverknoll Apts. I have a 6 year old cat.
Responsibilities overnight care includes assisting with personal care such as toileting and dressed in the morning. I use a wheelchair and have my college degree. Day and evening includes meal prep, driving me to shop in my modified van, toileting and light housework. My existing staff and I will provide specialized training on my sit to stand and track system.
