Our Utility Client in Uniondale, NY is looking for a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect for a 1+year role that 90% remote. Cyber Security Solutions Architect:Responsible for technical implementation and integration of all Cybersecurity applications as well as industry best practices for current applications. Hands on experience of cybersecurity assessment of systems and applications following corporate requirements and best practices.Role and Responsibilities
- Identify threats, recommend, and develop suitable defense measures, assess system changes for security implications, and recommend enhancements, research, and draft cyber security reports, and provide support for resolving challenging cyber security issues.
- Provide recommendation and configure Windows and Linux host-based security as well as network and cloud-based security systems, with a strong understanding of Azure Cloud Environment.
- Perform RCA on failed scans and security incidents
- Prepare Threat Profiles/Risk Assessments for vulnerabilities based on internal testing, CVE #, SANS, CIS, etc. as required. A write-up of a given vulnerability describing the technical details and severity of the issue in the context of business risks and benefits.
- Assist other cybersecurity issues as well as cross functional team members by providing full support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Document security reports, assign remediation to related IT members, follow up and support the remediation to conclusion.
- Provide in-depth information on cybersecurity, including application, infrastructure, and database security to senior management.
