Position is hybrid- 80% onsite, 20% remoteProgram / Project Manager Multi-Discipline The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating multifaceted Business projects. In addition, the PM is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness of programs within client's Service Providers. This position will assess and minimize systems implementation and operational risk by continuous risk assessment, monitoring, avoidance, and mitigation activities Duties include communicating with stakeholders and supporting the IV&V Review of Technology and Business projects. The Project Manager will work within the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) and directly engage with functional personnel and project owners as well as Service Providers to aid in the employment of and relevant project management disciplines as well as monitoring and maintaining a secure, reliable, and functional platform for a consistent, across the board experience for all 1+ millions customersDuties/Responsibilities:The Project Manager will support the oversight function of Service Providers' engineering and technology efforts in a high-level managerial role and ensure the project team is validating and verifying the technical attributes of these efforts at a more technical level.Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manages assigned projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and project scope.
  • Coordinating project team members and developing project plans, schedules and individual responsibilities
  • Oversees and monitors the implementation of the service provider's work plan and success measures.
  • Document oversight and performance management work product in an appropriate manner for management and third-party review.
  • Ensure the timely development of the Artifacts and consistent execution according to the plans by the Service Provider
  • Present reports on the company's project status, goals, and progress
  • Collects analyzes and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports
  • Support and coordinate project management strategies
  • Ensure the company's resources are aligned with the organization's short- and long-term goals
  • Identify what technologies can be used to improve the company's products and services
  • Monitor and report KPIs for Projects
  • Continuously perform risk assessments, including monitoring, avoidance, and mitigation activities and make recommendations to management based on those assessments as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: Preferred background and experience of working within the Public Utilities sector in development, implementation, and IV&V with strength in project execution and control, risk assessments, operational technology platforms and critical infrastructure. Character and IntegrityOutstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Well-developed IT and technical skills (relevance to the utility sector preferred)
  • Experience with project management and collaboration software, particularly Smartsheet and Sharepoint
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field. PMP certification is required.CSM certification is a plus. Degree can be offset with a proven track record in IT operations and management environments in the Utility sector and certifications that demonstrate technical proficiencies in IT environments and project management. Minimum of 10 years of experience as project manager at various operational levels. Minimum of 5 years working in the Utilities Sector.
