The Nurse Manager will lead all operations of the Ambulatory Surgery department which includes pre-admission testing, outpatient ambulatory surgery, endoscopy services, and post-operative care. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager oversee the department nursing care needs, collaborates with medical staff and providers, provides patient and staff education, ensures accurate medical reporting, coordinates with other internal departments, leads the hiring and onboarding activities, assists with the yearly fiscal budget, and implements department policies and procedures.
Requirements Include:- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse RN license in the state of New York or ability to obtain
- Prior leadership experience in ambulatory surgery setting
