This Nurse Director of Quality will be responsible for overseeing and assisting with performance data, developing performance improvement/safety reports, safety and quality management, accreditation readiness and assessment, as well as researching and maintaining evidence-based best practices and outcomes, and improving services and outcomes among the nursing staff.
It is important that this RN Director of Quality have both a BSN and current NYSNursing License, as well as previous experience in Quality leadership positions. A Master's degree is not required but is preferred.
