A leading health system located in upstate New York is now searching for an experienced Supervisor Ultrasound Imaging to join their award-winning healthcare team.
This system combines a network of dedicated healthcare professionals within full service acute care hospitals, short-term rehab facilities, primary care offices and various specialty care practices. The flagship hospital is home to just over 100 licensed inpatient beds.
Reporting to the Director of Radiology, the Supervisor oversees all aspects of the Ultrasound Imaging department. The Supervisor will manage staff performance, ensure quality ultrasound images, maintain equipment within the department, and help lead or train student interns. The Supervisor will also perform diagnostic medical examination of patients using ultrasound imaging and Doppler ultrasound.
Requirements Include:
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program
- RDMS Certification or ability to obtain
- 3-5 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
