A local manufacturing company is looking to add (2) people to its staff on second shift. The Automated Optical Inspection Operator will inspect product run through Automated Optical Inspection equipment to recognize problems in the operation process or with components and to highlight/communicate those problems to machine operator for immediate correction.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform Automated Optical Inspection on various product lines.
Determine if the calls are true or false based on machine feedback based on the in-house training.
Monitor machines and be able to give feedback on machine performance. A log book is provided with criteria.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Must have basic computer skills.
Strong communication skills necessary.
Ability to work well with others is a bonus as it is a very small department.
Ability to understand drawings and work instructions. Training is provided if needed.
Understanding of solder inspection criteria would be preferred but not necessary. If not, in house IPC/J-STD training will be mandatory.
Ability to learn and use custom software programs. Training is provided.
Work Hours: 4:00pm 12:30am, Monday Friday (selected candidates will train on 1st shift for 2-4 weeks, 7:30am 4:00pm, Monday Friday)
Starting Pay: $12.50/hr +, based on experience
