Delivery Drivers
Carls Wholesale Furniture Warehouse is now hiring for Furniture Delivery Drivers.
Must have 1 or more years experience.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be authorized to work in the United States.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have a clean NY State Drivers License
Minimum Age: 21+ years old
Additionally:
We are currently looking for an outgoing and customer focused individual to serve as a furniture delivery driver. This team member will be responsible for accompanying a delivery partner on all pickups and deliveries. Core responsibilities include operating the GPS navigation device, making outbound calls to customers to inform them of your location, helping load and unload the delivery truck, helping to protect and secure furniture, assist with moving furniture in the store showroom, furniture placement and furniture assembly. This job is physically demanding and requires you to be able to lift and move furniture.

Previous moving, warehouse or furniture related experience preferred, but not required. GED or High School Diploma.
Physical Demands
This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, stooping, kneeling and crouching.
Vision abilities include close vision, color vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus
Involves lifting at least 50 lbs.
Ability to work fast, yet efficient. Work smart, not hard.
Communication Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to read, write, and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
Able to communicate on the telephone with proper etiquette.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
Ability to work as part of a team, and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
Other Skills
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
Work Hours
Ability to work a flexible schedule and the hours may include days, nights and weekend shifts.
Compensation:
$12 an hour, pay increases based on performance
