Job Description

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, you will design and develop reporting assets utilizing Enterprise Data Mart and Business Intelligence tools to provide consistent, reliable, and automated delivery to the end user. You will be responsible for conducting data discovery, analysis, and profiling of data, to validate business requirements and provide inputs into functional design. In addition, you will serve as domain expert in at least one area of the business, identify and manage data quality or integrity issues within the domain and collaborate with business units to design the structure of data solutions and plan their implementation within the team. As a member of this team, you will troubleshoot and fix data loads and other issues within a data mart, explore new ways to present data insights to end users within a project, and manage small scale product commitments to business stakeholders. Finally, you will mentor new associates in report development.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 8 years total combined higher education and related work experience, including:
    • At least 2 years of report building work experience, including experience using business intelligence (BI) tools and programming languages such as SQL
    • At least 6 years of higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
      • Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years programming work experience
  • At least 3 years report and data visualization development tool work experience such as Tableau
  • At least 1 year of Healthcare Information Technology work experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working in meaningful use, mips, macra, SQL, population health or CCL

Expectations
  • Must reside within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
