Carter Young Agency is looking for a great sales person. I'm looking for someone that is ready to SELL, SELL, SELL. You have to be ready to sell. You have to be willing to cold-call. You have to be willing to go around handing out your cards, meeting people, and self-marketing. If you can do that There's tons of money to be made at my agency.

This is an insurance agency, so the job is an Insurance Sales Job.

If you are already Property & Casualty and/or LAH licensed, that would be a great benefit, however, this is NOT a requirement. For the right candidate, I would be more than willing to cover the cost of getting you licensed and trained. Even if you know nothing about insurance right now or never even considered a job in this field, if you are a people person and think you can sell and want to make lots of money, this could be the right place for you.

I never thought that I would be an insurance agent, and now I own my own agency.

The office atmosphere is great. You will love where you work. I'm very flexible. There are obviously things that need to be done a certain way, but for many aspects of the position, I will train you and give you practices that work for me, but I'm very flexible on allowing you to find what works best for you.

Qualities / Requirements:

- Great Sales Skills - Ready to SELL, SELL, SELL.

- Must Be Resilient - If you get a no on the phone or in person, move on to the next one. The more you quote, the more people you talk to, the more you sell, the more money you make.

- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

- Must be organized.

- Computer skills.

- Must have the ability to self-market yourself and the agency.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

- Develop Leads & Schedule Appointments.

- Work Leads that are given to you.

- Market appropriate products & coverages.

- Cross-sell existing customers.

- Provide prompt customer servious.

- Sell various types of insurance.

- Service existing policies.

Compensation:

- Base Salary, plus commission. Raises and Bonuses are also available based on success.

- Total compensation is actually unlimited based on selling, but a realistic income for the first year is between $30,000 and $60,000 based on your work.

- Paid Vacation.
