Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Westbury, New York. Responsibilities: Execute daily processes and controls in compliance with company policies Math, batch, and code invoices daily Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling Perform special projects as assignedRequirements Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Check Runs is necessary Must be proficient in Coding Invoices Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency Experience with Invoice Processing is required Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary Strong communication and organizational skills Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have a strong work ethic and maintain confidentiality Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
