Job Description

IT Solution Architect - Beverages

The purpose of this job position is to own and manage end to end solution architecture and service delivery for the supply chain domain for PBNA. This includes technology strategy and solution design for the following capability areas: Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Fulfillment and Distribution, and Health & Safety, and integration from the Supply chain with other functions within the company.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:• Evangelize global technology strategies & standards in the domain (Supply Chain) and drive adoption within the sector• Develop sector technology strategy/future state architecture and roadmap to enable supply chain functions needs and major transformation programs• Support integration architecture development for integrating applications in the supply chain functions space with PGT, where applicable• Shepard proposals and projects in the domain and ensure they leverage globally defined frameworks, standards, guidelines and patterns. Ensure appropriate governance process followed for any deviations and exceptions • Provide end to end solution architecture services for key supply chain projects to ensure solutions meet the desired business needs and are flexible, scalable, resilient and secure. This includes producing architecture deliverables leveraging a globally defined architecture services framework. Key deliverables are: Conceptual, Logical and physical architectures holistically describing target solution architecture • Support portfolio rationalization efforts through "as is" inventory validation, and recommendation of optimization opportunities. Influence the scope of existing projects to accommodate simplification opportunities • Maintain networking and working relations with Global EA Domain owners and functional SMEs to ensure timely engagement, transparency and aligned decision making • Stay abreast of defined technology standards, guidelines and patterns and latest technology trends #AF-Tech

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors' Degree

Experience:• 15 years in Solution, Design and Delivery• Strong knowledge of business processes and capabilities for the supply chain domain• Ability to comprehend business strategies and needs and translate them to technology strategies• Experience with solution design and delivery from a range of vendors as well as bespoke development• In-depth knowledge of domain-specific platforms & how they integrate with the broader ecosystem• Very good knowledge of digital platforms (Data & Analytics, Integration, Commerce, etc.) to enable the delivery of end to end solution architecture• Ability to demonstrate mindset for Conceptual, Logical, Physical levels of architecture and apply them effectively• Thorough understanding of architecture guiding principles / modern architecture and leverage them to design forward-looking solutions• Good understanding of various security elements• Demonstrate ability to influence technology strategy and solution design for key initiatives, to align with enterprise standards and adhere to architecture guiding principles• Knowledge and expertise needed across all digital platforms (data and analytics, internet of things, integration, web solutions, commerce integration)• Networking needed with a wide group of global domain architects for guidance and alignment• Ability to develop and align common position on complex architecture topics and influence without authority• Solid knowledge of architecture services practice, established standards, frameworks, guidelines and strategies are critical success factors for the role
