My name is Eric Jones. I'm a recruiter with a staffing firm called Eclaro. Our client in White Plains, NY is looking Cost Analyst (Utility).
This is a 12 months contract with possible extension. We are looking for Cost Analyst (Utility) Project Overview: This role will support Operations Portfolio Management by evaluating, monitoring & coordinating activities related to the cost control for assigned projects.Job Functions & Responsibilities Overall: review invoices, determine cost forecasts, prepare accruals, and assist with out-year cost planning.• Coordinate with Accounts Payable and Procurement for invoices, Work Orders, P/O and Contracts for SAP.• Update project cash flow reports, variance reports and monthly accrual reports. • Provide assistance in the preparation of the monthly project progress report with cost and schedule data.• Assist Project Owner in developing the itemized pricing section for bid specification.• Collect actual costs for retrieval capability in such format as required for utilization in estimating and planning of future projects by the estimating section.Skills Knowledgeable in: o Project management methodologies o Prior use of SAP preferred. o Microsoft Office Suite and proficient in Excelo Financial Planning o Contract administrationEducation & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years of cost-related experienceIf you are interested in this opportunity, please send me your updated resume in word format or call ASAP so that we can discuss it in more detail.
