Our client - a major utility firm based out of Westchester County, NY - has an immediate need for an Energy Commodities Risk Management (ECRM) Administrator. The particulars of the position are as follows.

Project Overview:Administrator ECRM will manage the complete project life cycle for each ECRM product from initiation, project planning, estimating, managing, executing, implementing, and providing ongoing support through driving a culture of engagement.

Job Functions & Responsibilities: Responsible for day-to-day oversight and the end-to-end project management of ECRM products to support the strategic business and operational goals of the organization. Develops a vision and roadmap for ECRM products based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research and industry insight. Solicits business requirements and develops and manages procurement activities (RFI, RFQ, RFP, etc.) from development through vendor selection for assigned ECRM products or ongoing business unit support. In accordance with IT governance and architecture, lead and coordinate development of business and functional specification and interface effectively with the Development teams to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs. Prepares, maintains, and updates project plans, agendas, and systems set-up for each ECRM product. This includes determining product design, steps, activities, budgets, the sequence of events, critical success paths, dependencies, and the duration of tasks. Establish and track milestones, and delivery dates for ECRM products and underlying process enhancements, and escalate issues as appropriate, recommending solutions to senior project team members. Work with local management to plan and schedule participation of key stakeholders in testing activities. Provide leadership, guidance, and support during management of the execution of testing activities monitoring progress. Manage deployment-related and go-live activities to plan and schedule training, testing, cutover and go-live activities, including post go-live support and mitigation of post go-live issues Responsible to review and approve migration plans and releases. Administers all ECRM product requirements, including access / security management, upgrades, product configurations, business process governance, support escalation and remediation, reports, and product maintenance (upgrade, patches, fixes).In accordance with IT governance and architecture, lead and coordinate development of business and functional specification and interface effectively with the Development teams to translate Functional Specification documentation into Technical Specifications and the development of technical designs.

Skills: Subject Matter Expertise level knowledge of wholesale energy markets, specifically with the New York Independent System Operator (NYISO). PJM Interconnection and ISO New England a plus. Expertise with derivative instruments such as swaps and options. Proven ability at working with Commercial Operations and Risk Management teams leading to successful ECRM related outcomes. Demonstrated skills in working and communicating effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders and partnering to meet common objectives Excellent ECRM product and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities, communicate, and interact with people at all levels of the organization In-depth knowledge of ECRM business processes, technology acumen, and demonstrated success administering ECRM systems or similar applications Capable of handling complex conversations with leaders of the organization Action oriented, but detailed and organized Large-scale, global program management experience, including full life-cycle system deployments

Education & Certifications: Bachelors Degree required in Business, Finance, or Information Technology Minimum 5 years of professional level experience in ECRM processes and/ or similar product experience, with knowledge in SQL Server DBAs Project Management and Team Leadership experience Utility or Energy industry experience preferred.
