Senior Manager - Product Leadership

Job Description

• MS in Computer Science/Engineering with 5+ years or BS with computer science/applied statistics with 7+ years of experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously of medium or large scope and varying complexity
• Excellent problem solving, quantitative and analytical skills
• 2+ years of proven project management skills
• Expert in data mining and statistical analysis tools (e.g., SAS)
• Knowledge of SQL or relational databases
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously of medium or large scope and varying complexity
• Ability to oversee data research and draw conclusions about data integrity, accuracy, and general relationships
• Excellent verbal written and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels (technical staff as well as business users)
• Ability to work with multiple clients and multiple partners across multiple verticals
• Working knowledge of financial services, marketing effectiveness, and/or retailers is preferred
• Ability to prepare, organize and deliver effective presentations

Qualifications

• Drives the development efforts required based on high-level business requirements, to include timelines
• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of internal core systems and processes to gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Tracks, monitors and communicates project status and issues to relevant project stakeholders in a timely fashion
• Supervises, trains, mentors and motivates the team to partake and participate in the successful execution of projects
• Creates technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication memos
• Responsible for managing a complex process, developing programs or completing a deliverable
• Responsible for identifying issues and recommending alternatives to improve process efficiency and accuracy
• Responsible for interfacing with and managing clients and/or partnerships
• Deliver formal presentation of data analysis/research work to internal audiences and clients
• Deliver data driven exploratory analyses to solve problems in the retail finance industry
• Manage design sessions to identify innovative new technologies and enhance existing data analysis tools and methodologies
• Work with new and existing partners across multiple channels and mediums
• Handle communications with client; discuss data issues; participate in pre-sales support and provide post implementation support
