Hi,My name is Eric Jones. I'm a recruiter with a staffing firm called Eclaro. Our client in White Plains, NY is looking Sr. Graphic Designer (Utilities).
This is a 12 months contract with possible extension. We are looking for Sr. Graphic Designer (Utilities)Project Overview The Senior Designer will be responsible for the design and development of branded B-B and B-C assets in print and digital media for the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams. This individual will need to execute design ideas with a high level of accuracy, brand compliance and refined aesthetics.The Senior Designer will collaborate with internal team members including the creative director, design manager, marketing managers and copywriters. Must be comfortable working on projects at all levels, from the smallest banner ad to conference graphics, and must be comfortable with a level of ambiguity as projects develop.We need a capable, detail-oriented, creative individual with strong communication skills. This position will focus on providing day-to-day creative support for our internal partners, while collaborating with other designers and creative leadership.In addition, the Senior Graphics Designer will develop relationships, build rapport, and deliver best-in-class creative to internal stakeholders. We are looking for a great designer who is not above performing production work to help the creative team be successful.Job Functions & Responsibilities • Help translate marketing and business objectives into clear creative work that is compelling, engaging and in-line with our brand guidelines• Explore, develop, and produce innovative and visually fresh concepts in partnership with content strategy managers• Apply problem-solving skills to achieve unique design solutions for branding challenges• Remains up-to-date on current design trends, typography, brand identity • Effectively presents design ideas to Design Manager, Creative Director and other internal team members, as well as internal clients• Defends strength of ideas while remaining open to alternatives and further explorations that may be deemed more effective or appropriate• Collaborate regularly with all internal teams• Design and develop digital files • Delivers innovative design solutions within given timelinesSkills • Ability to review creative briefs, concept quickly and create assets that solve strategic problems with ingenuity and a fresh perspective• Agile to respond quickly to design challenges, client and internal needs and open to make creative changes quickly based on client input• Proven experience creating and preparing digital files for programming• Understanding of print design and printing processes• Experience in motion graphics is an added bonus• Comfortable managing assignments and coordinating to successfully meet deadlinesEducation & Certifications • Bachelor’s degree required, plus outstanding online portfolio that demonstrates understanding of print and digital design best practices• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator,) • Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint• Comfortable working remote–including presenting, receiving feedback and brainstorming via Teams calls• Strong written and verbal communicationIf you are interested in this opportunity, please send me your updated resume in word format or call ASAP so that we can discuss it in more detail.
