Your Career

In this highly-visible and important role, the Manager, Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineers will embody the PANW vision and culture, designing and supporting an infrastructure that is focused on security, simplicity, and scale for our Network Operations Center. A successful candidate is one who thrives in a fast and collaborative environment and has a proven track record of making networks more secure, stable, and cost effective.

Please note that this role needs to be full time located in our EBC in Amsterdam, NL.

Your Impact

  • Develop and maintain an efficient, scalable, and automated network operational procedures, architecture and team structure

  • Establish and manage a team to monitor, analyze, and communicate potential issues to our customer success and support organizations

  • Drive issues to full resolution, working closely with the Global Customer Success team

  • Provide timely updates to Executive Leadership to ensure status and feedback are shared timely with internal and external stakeholders

  • Serve a leadership role in resolving service impacting issues

  • Manage stakeholder communications with respect to project and operations status

  • Lead troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross-functional teams through resolution

  • Build, coach and lead the NOC engineering team with the understanding and real world experience to operate, proactively monitor, and support our customer network staff on the NOC that provides 24/7 monitoring

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.

  • 12+ years of related experience, 8+ as a Network Engineer in a revenue generating production environment

  • Expert knowledge of NOC processes

  • Strong management capabilities and time management skills

  • Customer-first approach with a relentless passion to improve the customer experience through great, usable solutions

  • Significant people management experience

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment with constant change to address emerging security risks and challenges

  • Positive, growth-oriented mindset

  • Thrives in a matrixed, team environment anchored by our values of Collaboration, Disruption, Execution, Inclusion, and Integrity
