Online Merchandising Specialist

Job Description

As Online Merchandising Specialist you support all the commercial site operations with a focus on merchandising for all the countries for WEB and APP. You aim to increase conversion and user experience by maintaining and improving the product catalog/structure and ensure that all products and content pages are searchable including a perfect landing page.

Within your role you optimise product pages, category pages and landing pages per country (based on data). You make sure that all products have the right content, images / movies and that the cross and up sell is optimised throughout the whole website and APP. You make sure that the filter and sorting options work well andcontributes to a better customer journey that eventually improves the conversion rate.

• You work closely with the content team and online marketing team for the product positioning on the landing pages and product banners;
• You maintain and optimise site navigation structure (all countries) to provide the most optimal customer experience and ensure the right products are easy to find;
• You are responsible for campaign related landing pages, alignment with content and online marketing team;
• You partner with online marketing team to create / optimise high traffic, low converting pages (product and search related), review and improve onsite search for accurate landing pages and results;
• You provide competitive analysis on latest trends, and newness in products and merchandising opportunities;
• You work closely with supply chain team to support with effective stock management and forecasting;
• You are responsible for implementation ofpromotions on our online platforms, this includes content implementation and setting up thepromotionengine + analyzing results using data via PowerBI and Google Analytics.

• You have a higher professional or university level education (HBO/WO);
• You have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an e-commerce environment, preferably merchandising;
• You have knowledge of CMS systems, SalesForce is a plus;
• You have strong analytical skills and data is one of your key-drivers;You are persuasive, results-oriented, energetic and structured;
• You are representative, organized and pro-active;
• You are able and willing to take responsibility and know how to deal with time-management and change;
• You are fluent in English, both written and verbal.
