MAIN PURPOSE

In this role you co-create, drive, and structure Rituals’ global PR and communication strategy and initiatives. The role is a mix of corporate communications responsibilities (75%) and PR-related work (25%) and calls for someone who effortlessly switches between inside-out and outside-in perspectives.

THE ROLE IN SIX BULLETS

  • Develop, constantly rethink, and drive our corporate communications and PR strategy across platforms and markets
  • Empower and inspire and coach your team, ensuring we work towards a shared goal and maintainanomnichannelmindset
  • Create well written content, ranging from long copy (e.g., brand stories, interviews, statements) to Q&As for the board
  • Team up with Internal teams (Marketing, Social Media & Influencers, Campaign, HR, Customer Relations) and local Marketing teams ensuring global initiatives are effectively rolled out and fully localized
  • Brief Head of Marketing and their Global PR agencies and fine-tune output, so all content and local plans align with your strategy
  • Responsible for all corporate, internal and crisis communication and statements.

THE IN-DEPTH VERSION

As PR & Global Communications Manager, you are the driver of all internal and external communications endeavors. An impactful position, because we intend to step up and harmonize our omnichannel communications initiatives to better spotlight our beautiful brand and idiosyncratic identity. This requires an outside-in mindset because the world is in transition, and we want to emphasize our contributions to positive change.As anexample,weintend to incorporate and leverage global developments such as sustainability and D&I even more into our communications strategy.

While the role is strategic – you sign off on the bi-annual plans, allocate budgets and are the gatekeeper for all things internal and external communication. You prepare Q&A’sfor the Rituals’ Board, brief and facilitate brand ambassadors, produce interviews, statements and evaluate/optimize and check content created by others, such as HR,internal coms,external PR partners and counterparts at local retail organizations. Summing up: devise and adapt the overall strategy,coach,and inspire your team, create alluring, on-brand content, and make sure all the i’s are dotted before they leave HQ.

YOU IN EIGHT BULLETS

  • You bring a relevantMaster’sdegree (Marketing, Communications, etcetera) to the table, plus 6+ years of leadership experience in high-visibility, stakeholder-rich environments.You know when ‘no’ is the right answer, and how to sell that.
  • You bring great writing and communication experience, as evidenced by your extensive portfolio.
  • You bring great corporate & crisis communication skills and can develop strong external statements, you are the spokesperson of the brand.
  • You are looking for a role which offers a chance to develop, drive and guard a communication winning strategy
  • You effortlessly switch between English and Dutch. If you can perform that same trick in additional languages, even better!
  • You are customer obsessed, stress resistant andyou canconvert omnichannel trends and insights into next best actions
  • Experience in digital development and omnichannel lifts your CV to the next level
  • You always give 100%, you are flexible and take responsibility during crisis situations. This requires not a nine to five mentality
