Implement and coordinate the day-to-day functions that support the assigned program or service. Oversee database systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of data. Manage risk by reviewing, updating and implementing methods, policies and procedures.2: Hire, train, coach, counsel and evaluate performance of direct reports and volunteers. Develop and set individual and departmental team goals and manage/drive change. Allocate and direct resources, including assigning work, to deliver program or service effectively and efficiently.3: Assist with development of budget and coordinate budget activities to fund operations and maximize efficiency.4: Evaluate and report effectiveness of program or service and prepare recommendations for continuous improvement. Monitor program outcomes and results to reinforce organizational accountability. Establish and implement program/service goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.5: Identify possible funding sources for program or service initiatives to include government agencies and philanthropic foundations/organizations.6: Develop and conduct trainings/presentations to promote Red Cross services and programs to community.7: Develop and cultivate professional relationships with key internal & external partners/organizations. Attend community meetings and events to facilitate exchange of information and resources within assigned territory. May provide analysis, advice and consultation on program or service.Scope: Direct daily operations of work unit.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree required.Experience: Minimum 3 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.Management Experience: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.Skills & Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Develop strategies to achieve organizational goals. Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills to develop creative processes for continuous program or service improvements. Intermediate proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Familiarity with federal, state and local employment laws. Ability to work on a team.Travel: Travel may be required.

Combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones and printers, light traffic).
