Responsible for retrieval and processing of practice management data from Veterinary practices across the county transforming it with business rules into data files that drive mail, email, text and web communication that is customized for each practice and personalized for each pet.
Boomerang Communications is a 4-year-old firm that provides personalized pet owner communications for veterinarian practices to make sure that owners bring their pets back in for the wellness services needed. We provide high impact personalized postcards, email, text messages and pet owner web pages, optimized for the highest pet owner response (compliance). We do the communication for the vets behind the scenes, on their behalf, so they can focus on caring for the pet patients. All communication is customized for each practice and personalized for each pet individually.
We have grown very rapidly to over 500 practices with a 56% "close rate" and a 93% retention. We are now taking a portion of those practice clients and starting to expand further by going direct to the other 26,000 hospitals and clinics in the country who don't yet know yet that we are available, and provide communication services that are far more effective and higher performing than the competitors.
Data operations involves management and execution of various processes that retrieve, convert and produce various data-based communication programs. This includes weekly personalized mail file, email campaign, text campaign and pet-owner web page update. You will generate and send out reports to our clients, provide data archiving and process audits to make sure that processes have run correctly. The right candidate be able to fully understand all of our data production processes, to insure that the right communication goes to each pet owner.
We are currently updating our processes to use the latest data technology and streamlining and automating even more of our processes, so we are best prepared for further rapid expansion.
Note: this is Not a software/systems/website development job. Those skills would be helpful, but the work is more focused on the data-based operations.
Our production takes place over the weekend. So, you must be available for weekend work.
4+ years experience in data operations/transformation management is required. Obviously, very high data skills are essential. Strong personal relationship skills are essential to communicate continuously with our Client Service manager/team and end clients at veterinary clients. Advance technology experience (e.g. Java, AWS, SQL Server) is a plus. Experience with veterinarians, and vet-data would be a strong plus.
