Automation Lead Engineer

Corporate IT is actively searching for an experienced expert-level Automation Lead Engineer and Developer who will leverage development skills with modern test automation technologies to develop a fully automated test suite for critical internal applications. The Automation Lead Engineer will be part of a development team within LabCorp working to improve the efficacy and efficiency of our clinical trial configuration tool suite. The right candidate for this role will participate in the test automation technology development and best practice models. The Automation Lead Engineer develops and facilitates the execution of automated test suites using industry standard COTS and other custom tools. In this role, you will be working with the users, business analysts, product managers, and developers focusing on establishing functional tests as automated steps first and foremost. • Enumerate and specify test scenarios based on: coverage of the requirements, stress of the system and risk evaluation
• Develop automated execution of the system to match the enumerated scenarios
• Ensure continuous execution of the tests
• Collaborate with developers to facilitate the development of strategies to ensure the tests are reliable and resilient to change
• Establish test to requirement linkage within our test management system
