Job DescriptionFIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer II in Durham, NC to analyze, design, program, debug and modify software enhancements and new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Interact with product managers and users to define system requirements and necessary modifications. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Install, configure, and administer WebSphere Application Server v9.0 ND, Tomcat, JBoss, and Apache HTTP Server on cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services and Red Hat OpenShift. Build and deploy various Docker Images for various projects using, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, and Nexus on OpenShift Platforms. Work with an Agile development team to deliver an end-to-end continuous integration and continuous delivery product in an open source environment using ansible and Jenkins. Develop scripts for build, deployment, maintenance, and related tasks using Jenkins, Docker, Maven, Python and Bash. Develop and implement various Openshift Environments for various projects using Helm and docker software. Utilize kubernetes and docker for the runtime environment of the CI/CD system to build, test and deploy. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Digital Sciences, or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing end-to-end systems development life cycles, including waterfall and iterative approaches to software development; utilizing ISO, CMM, Six Sigma; conducting and applying design patterns; developing sequence diagrams and class models; utilizing solutions design and requirements definition disciplines leveraging model-driven design-based tools and techniques including conceptual solution component models, business process models, and use cases; utilizing networking, computing platform, storage, database, security, middleware, network and systems management, and related infrastructure technologies and practices; installing and configuring middleware technologies, including Apache Tomcat, IBM WebSphere, JBoss on AWS cloud infrastructure; configuring management tools, including Ansible and Chef, as well as CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, docker, and Git. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
