Job Title: Automation Expert Location: Cary, NC (Remote till COVID) Note: Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS and Cisco Unified Communications & Collaboration Develop automation solutions and standards leveraging Ansible playbooks and pipelines. Implement and support Infrastructure as a Code. Automate workflows, collaborate and assist with installation and configuration of virtual environments and networking in, Cisco Nexus, Cisco UCS, Cisco Unified Communications & Collaboration and VMware environments based on project requirements and design analysis. Architect, deploy, configure and manage automation platforms. Provide operational support and guidance for Ansible platform including administration, troubleshooting, user support, monitoring, disaster recovery, security compliance/auditing, networking, storage, service brokers and build packs. Develop scripts to drive towards zero touch monitoring and change management. Experience Deep expertise in solution architecture of Automation and Orchestration, Networking, Collaboration
- 5+ years of Linux experience
- 3+ years of Ansible experience
- 5+ years of advanced scripting in one or a combination of the following: Python (preferred) , Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, or PowerShell
- 2+ years of Splunk experience
- Experience on Puppet and Chef is a plus
- Experienced with VMware vSphere and ESXi
- Proven experience with networking and related technologies (e.g. Cisco DC architecture including UC, Nexus and ASA)
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager Cisco Unity Connection and other Cisco Collaboration products
- Other technologies such as DNS, NTP, SSO, Active Directory
