Job Description:

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be able to easily lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail during routine activities
  • Ability to follow procedures and written instructions
  • Ability to communicate well and interact with customer base and fellow Operations support staff
  • Ability to perform secure file transfers
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Experience with production print requests
  • Four years of experience working with Oracle ERP applications or similar application
  • Four years minimum of computer operations or IT experience
  • Associates degree in Computer Science, Technology or related field (four-year degree preferred)
The following tasks are also provided to help explain the day-to-day activities that this person would be responsible for performing.
  • Monitoring data center for alerts, activities, and anomalies - Temperature, printer, alarms etc.
  • Transfer and receive secure data files as requested. Internal files and external files (banks, insurance companies, etc.)
  • Process Oracle ERP request as needed including nightly ERP cycle processing
  • Print and seal secure data (W2’s, 1099 etc.)
  • Print and seal AP checks and Payroll checks
  • Ensure backup processes have completed successfully
  • Prepare routine backup tapes and secure information to be sent off-site and received back from third party vendor
  • Monitor scheduling application for job completion and problem resolution
  • Assist user community with problem resolution as needed regarding any of the processes listed above or inquired about
  • Assist team members in maintaining departmental documentation
  • Participate in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery as required – a leader will guide the employee on tasks to assist with. The contractor does not need experience in DR/BC.
