- The individual is expected to have at least 9+ years of experience with XML, JSON, REST and SOAP interface programming
- Google Cloud experience working with Terraform, GitHub
- Practical experience of Test Driven Development and constant refactoring in Continuous Integration Environment
- Extensive demonstrated hands on experience with Java and experience in designing, developing, maintaining complex frameworks and database experience (SQL Server and/or Oracle)
- Practical experience with Build Tools (Maven), Source Code Control (Git), Continuous Integration (Jenkins or TeamCity,udeploy) and Cloud/ Docker based application deployment.
- Good understanding, hands on experience on Tooling & Monitoring solutions( New Relic – Preferable ,Grafana/Geneos/AppDynamics/Splunk/Nimsoft)
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Must be able to manage application migration activities globally across virtual teams with conflicting priorities.
- Responsible for understanding business requirements and development of overall technical strategy and solution to address those requirements
- Enable the migration of current DB ‘Workload Automation’ solution to Google Cloud Platform using DB solutions.
- Enable the tools analysis and support migration strategy by the Supplier’s architects with technical guidance.
- Support DB CIO Application teams with Supplier experienced on ‘New Relic’ tools solution and help in the enablement of ‘New Relic’ monitoring for DB applications.
- Work on issues identified during the ‘New Relic’ enablement process and provide engineering support along with ‘New Relic’ vendor team.
- Support DB CIO Application teams with basic training and enablement session for ‘New Relic’ and DB Workload Automation solution.
- Enable and configure applications as instructed and guided by DB Application teams.
- Enable observability and Automation for the DB approved application requirements based on ‘New Relic’ recommendations.
- Enable integrations and work on various DB specific tools to support the DB CIO Java based application configurations.
- Perform development activities to support an enhanced reporting capability around the usage by DB of the Geneos tool.
